The Anglican Churches within the Forest of Dean
are located within the Diocese of Gloucester
and within two administrative areas called
the Deaneries of Forest North and Forest South.
Holy Trinity, Drybrook is situated at the eastern end of the
Deanery of Forest South which itself extends from Drybrook
as far west as the Severn Bridge and from the River Severn
as far north as Ruardean.
The Churches of Forest South vary considerably in age,
size and tradition and this small introduction to their life
is but a small part of a much larger story.
